I’m a mess! My hands feel like they’re vibrating from all the sanding I did today. I’m covered in wood dust and paint chips from head to toe. I look 110yrs old from the deep marionette lines my dust mask kindly in-bedded in my face ….BUT ~ I’m in the best mood ever!
Why? …
I’m so flattered! It’s the biggest compliment when creative, talented fellow furniture artists feature MY make-overs!
Yesterday, Behind The Purple Door located in Richmond Hill ON featured my VERY 1st Milk Paint attempt on her Facebook page. Cheryl is the talented furniture artist behind the purple door who takes time out of her busy day to feature a daily flip from Canadian talent. You can see her gorgeous work below and My Feature here.
I’ve also recently been featured by Stephanie at Furniture Flipp’n. This furniture flipper’s a hoot! Her sense of humour is unmatched and she’s fixated on what everyone’s eating for dinner.
Her write up on my china cabinet 50 Shades of Grey is charming and fun. Oh…and take a look at this bad boy she re-purposed and up-cycled. Plain Jane dresser turned into HIP media console.
(Steph, if you’re reading this, I’m still waiting for a dinner invite… your left-overs look good!)
And last but not least, Lauren at West Furniture Revivals also featured not 1 but 2 of my transformations back in July which you can see here. Lauren’s included me in the company of some FABULOUS talent and I can’t thank her enough! Here’s a beautiful example of her work.
(Lauren, if you’re reading this, I don’t know how this got by me the last few weeks… possibly inhaled too much sanding dust!) 😉
So I guess it’s true…if you do what you love and keep plugging away, people will start taking notice.
I feel blessed and grateful to be amongst such great talent, creativity and savvy business women!
Thanks for reading and enjoy your day!
Hi, I just discovered your site and love what you’ve done with the furniture. I’m sure I’ll enjoy reading your blog and following what you do. However, I have one request. Would you please change the font color on your pages to a dark color? The pale green is really difficult for me to read and I bet others find it the same. Thanks so much.
Hi Pat…and welcome, so glad you’re here! Are you referring to the link colour?
Thanks so much Denise for the shout out and for showing off one of my projects!
Lauren
My pleasure and thank you!!
