She knows I feel like a V.I.P today!
About a month ago I was contact by a talented author and freelance writer; the lovely Maria Mora. Maria is a frequent contributor to SheKnows.com Home Channel. She was working on a Flea Market/Dramatic Flips Feature and contacted me to see if I had any particular projects I might be interested in sharing.
I blog about this ‘Salvaging and Up-Styling Furniture Trend’ to inspire, and show others if I can do it…ANYONE can!… so I jumped at the opportunity!
I’m blessed to be included in this article and in the company of such talented bloggers who’s work I admire. This feature also includes dramatic furniture transformations from the talented Beckie from Infarrantly Creative, Kim from Easy Peasy Pie and Andrea from Our Blue Front Door.
I’m so flattered!
Maria, if you’re reading this, thank you for including me in your inspiring article Trend Crush: Flea Market Flips That Will Shock You!

Happened across your page. I am new to trying to sell my painted furniture but have for quite some time been selling art work and craft projects. I really got the “bug” when a friend I have done past projects for asked if I could antique a built in hutch at her home. I had never done a piece like that but I will try just about any painting project. I enjoyed it more than I thought possible. She posted the before and afters. I have gotten more requests for other pieces.
Your post is so clearly written and the photography is wonderful and easy to see exactly what all the details you refer to. Thank you for giving me hope and guidance as I too try to turn around tired furniture into items people can use and enjoy for many more years. Looking forward to reading more from you.
Thanks and Welcome Sheri! Wishing you all the best with your ‘new’ furniture painting endeavours! x
