Hi everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. I’ve been keeping busy upgrading the baseboards in my living and dining room, and I’ve started restyling this little Goodwill Cabinet I posted on FB last week. Pretty plain, but it has great bones so I’m excited to see how it turns out.
I was hoping to have it all finished and ready to share with you today but it’s not working out that way. I’m doing a raised stencil technique and my stencil is the size of a postage stamp. I have to keep waiting for the medium to dry before I can move onto the next area. It’s kind of funny, but a little frustrating at the same time. Anyway, I hope the effect turns out like I’m envisioning and the extra time spent will all be worth it.

Chalk painting base boards… fancy Julie! I’m sure they look magnificent!!! I’m going to prime mine and paint them a crisp-clean white. I’ve recruited one of my friends to come give me a hand tomorrow. 🙂
