If you’re using Milk Paint and need full coverage as opposed to the chippy look – MMS Bonding Agent is the product to use. It looks like a milky glue and you add it directly into your first coat of mixed milk paint. Mixing a Bonding Agent into your Milk Paint will help create an even and dependable layer for the additional coats of milk paint bind to.
Hi Cecilia! I’m unsure how to answer because I’m not sure if I’m understanding your question… sorry… my brain is distracted these days.😐 Whenever I have peeling paint, I sand it ALL off. If there is a ‘ledge’ between the sanded off flakey paint and the paint that is still adhered, I fill it with a wood fill or Bondo — so when I prime/paint, it’s super smooth. MMS Bonding agent is used as an additive TO paint so it doesn’t chip or flake, but applying it onto chippy/peeling paint isn’t a fix… unfortunately. ps If I misunderstood your question, feel free to comment back and ask again! 🙂
