Wow… these weeks fly by fast don’t they? Well Happy Tuesday to you… and here’s another Quick-Tip-Tuesday hint.
Have you ever removed the drawers from a dresser, chest or side table only to discover you’re having a heck of a time trying to fit them back in?
The wood on older furniture settles, expands and contracts. Flaws and imperfections occur over years of use. Often one drawer is opened and closed more than the others. All this leads to variances in the tracks and subtle changes in the way the drawers fit together.
A simple tip to avoid the hassle of annoying drawer placement is to number your drawers as you’re removing them. I use a pencil and mark a small number on the side of each drawer as I remove it, however large numbers on the bottom (as this prior owner has done) work just as well!
If you have any other suggestions I’d love to hear them! If you missed last weeks Q-T-T you can find it here.
Have a fabulous day!

This also work for doors if you have more than one set that is the same size. Just remember which side you stared numbering from.
Brilliant Karen!
