Happy Valentine’s Day friends! I’ll keep this short and sweet so you can get back to a fun day of chocolates, romance and roses – but I have to share this exciting news with you!
Last month I mentioned Lou Butt, the editor of Reloved Magazine reached out and asked me if I’d be interested in becoming part of The Reloved Designer Team. I’m happy to say, the first issue I’m featured in is finally HERE!
Our Pretty In Pink Farmhouse Dresser including the DIY Tutorial is published in the Reloved Valentine’s Issue #39. I say ‘our’ because YOU (my amazing SI Readers) deserve a shout out. You ‘liked’ and ‘pinned’ this piece, and I’m sure this helped it get recognized by a magazine – so thank you!
Does the middle thumbnail on this front cover look familiar? 🙂
And check out this three page spread!
This monthly publication focuses on breathing new life into old forgotten objects. A great resource for thrifter’s and diy’ers like you and me! Reloved offers overseas subscriptions – and online subscriptions are also available.
A big thank you to Lou for including me and making this experience fun. And thank YOU for letting me toot-my-own-horn and share my happy with you today.
Hi! Iβm in love with your beautiful pink dresser! Thank you for sharing your spread in Reloved magazine. But both of the links you provided donβt re-route to their website. Iβm redirected to a βthis domain name (relovedmag.co.uk) may be for saleβ page. My online search says the magazine has been discontinued!! What am I doing wrong, please? Thank you!
Hmmm, thanks for this Pam! I’ll look into it.
Congratulations!! That is such a huge achievement – you deserve it! I like how well the piece they used sums up your style… and the hard work you put into it! =) You always go above and beyond. I think Carole’s right, you could easily have your own show, you’ve got talent and skill. =)
I have to know, though… your last name is awesome, but how do you pronounce it? Because all I can think of is “Zbornak”, lol!
You and Carole are too sweet… not to mention great for my ego ;). Yes, my last name is a doozie – but no Dorthy involved…lol! In Poland, the Z-d-z actually gets pronounced with the accent, but here we pronounce it Jenn-a-neet-ski. Back in school, even teachers had a hard time with it so one teacher came up with Denise ‘Alphabet’ and it stuck through my school years. =)
It just occurred to me that sci-fi alien names could just as easily be Polish names. ;P That makes sense, though! It’s a cool name, very pretty! It’s a shame the teachers couldn’t get it right… even though “Alphabet” is pretty funny! π
Uncommon names are the gift that keeps on giving, aren’t they? I’ve learned to respond to Mary-Lee and Muriel, and everything in between. π
Uncommon names really are a gift Muriel… oh I mean Mary-Lee… oh I mean Zovesta π ……. I just didn’t know it when I was back in school.
Thanks so much everyone! I really appreciate all the kind words and all your upbeat support. You guys are the B-E-S-T!!! And I have to apologize to any of you who left a comment when the post was originally published on the 14th. As you may have noticed, the site was down for a few days while the files were being transferred to a designated server. Some of the original comments published were ‘lost’ in the move, but I DID read everyone one of them even though they are not showing up on the page. π
