Let me start by saying… I swore I would NEVER drive a mini-van. I’m just so NOT the mini-van “type”. I always gravitate to 2 seater sports cars… the smaller, the cuter, the faster, the better.
Well today I’ve officially turned into a responsible business owner and purchased a much needed vehicle appropriate for pick-up and deliveries, a Ford Windstar Sport Mini-Van.
This ‘new-to-me’ vehicle is a great step in growing my business and will make pick-ups and deliveries a breeze.
This weekend I’m going to ask My-Mystery-Man (M-M-M) to remove all the back seats which will give me maximum manoeuvring space for the furniture. Well what do ya know… I’ll have my 2 seater!
The moral of this post – a simple reminder to stay flexible and open minded when taking care of business… and never say never! 😉
Thank you to my neighbour Barry at B&B Auto for directing me to Anne & Burt (super kind couple) for this great deal. I appreciate all the help.
Had the same van…loved it! And wee little car too!
It fit a ton, right!? 😀
Congrats!! I did the same thing…then we bought a Sienna last summer and I haven’t looked back…I have hauled two kitchen pantries, cupboards, dinning table for mom, dressers….amazing!! I know exactly how much room I have and when I pick up stuff from Kijiji shopping the seller always says “you might have to come back with a truck” Ha! Not!
Thanks Laura-Lee. I am loving it even though it’s the last vehicle I EVER imagined myself in… And you go girl…that’s a lot of hauling! lol
