There’s nothing more frustrating than paint dripping through open hardware holes and ruining the inside of a clean drawer. When I first started painting furniture, this happened to me more times than I care to admit.
And it wasn’t just paint that found it’s way south! When I wasn’t careful on how much product I applied, I was quick to discover furniture stripper {even the thick gel kind!} and polyurethane also leave unsightly blotches.
Today’s quick tip is such a simple solution I almost didn’t post it.
The simplest way to avoid inside drawer drips when painting furniture:
Mask the backside of the hardware holes with painters tape!
Sometimes it’s the simplest tips that save time and frustration.
Do you have any tips on avoiding annoying drips? Care to share? 🙂
