Hello my friends! This bright and cheery Think Yellow Roundup is as much for me as it is for you. Last week I wasn’t feeling 100% and my energy level was low. Unfortunately, my mood matched.
Usually I’m a positive, upbeat person, but I couldn’t seem to motivate myself to decorate, paint or blog. Instead, I spent extra time with family and practiced some some self-care. Sometimes it’s just as important to be kind and compassionate with ourselves as it is with others.
We had fun with our last Think Pink and Think Green roundup, so today I’m sharing 25 Beautiful Furniture Makeovers in various shades of sunshine. I picked this uplifting color in hopes it would inspire and perk me up. I think it’s working. As I sit here curating this roundup, I’m getting the urge to head down to my studio and paint.
Thank you to ALL the amazing and talented furniture artists who created these beautiful pieces! Your furniture has inspired me as I’m sure it will others.

So true about needing to take care of yourself. If you don’t take care of yourself, how can you expect to take care of others? Hope you’re feeling better, especially with the warm weather!
I admit… I’m not a yellow person. Yellow and orange almost make me feel bonkers. Still! Gorgeous roundup, I especially liked 38th Street and Coveteur, absolutely gorgeous pieces that the color compliments well. Thanks for the roundup! 🙂 I kind of want to see a purple roundup eventually, it seems like you don’t see too many lilac or amethyst colored pieces.
I am feeling better, thank you Zovesta. <3 And you gave me a chuckle with yellow/orange making you feel bonkers. It's so true - colour definately influences mood. My brother-in-law gets angry every time he wears green! I'll keep your purple/amethyst round-up idea in mind. 🙂
Hi Denise, Thanks for all the wonderful sunny inspiration 🙂
Hello Denise , this brightened my day you don’ t know how ! first time on net since my sweet daughter was operated for a brain tumor here in US all well , so many blessings ,i left an unfinished painting work on a stair landing and the to be yellow bedroom furniture and ,there it is , all that sunshine after the storm , i was in France stuck on a week end ( no answers anywhere ) Trying to get visa ,nothing but blessings all along the way , if you can’t find your faith , ask for it , ask for it , ask for it …it will fall from the sky from the most unexpected momenth when you decide God is right there in everyone at that very moment , even from a , (so it would seem ) ” mean ” custom agent not aware of the situation who became God for a moment and from that moment on it will not falter , don’ t let it no matter what , head high . Do not listen to – bad travel , bad hospital , bad doctors …once you are given the grace to have faith . YOU decide who is in charge ! Desperation is human but ASK ! Happy painting everyone . Happy Feasting Days and yes do take care of yourselves .
Hello Catherine!! Very kind and generous of you to share this with me. You’re optimistic words have added light and sunshine to my day my friend! My sister and I are going through a challenging time with my Dad who as you may recall has Alzheimers. Last week he looked at me with confusion and for the first time, he didn’t know who I was. My heart broke. And I have to admit, it took me a few days to feel myself again. As you know, it’s so hard to see a loved one going through any medical challenges. I’ll take your words to heart and look for the blessings. I’m SO HAPPY to hear your daughters operation was a success and hope she feels better soon. xo
I love yellow ! So cheerful & sunny ! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful collection. Hope you feel better ! ❤ Cynthia
