Your love of WoodUbend is contagious! I bought a handful of them a couple years ago after seeing your beautiful pieces. I’m unsure if I can use WoodUbend trim on a vintage full length mirror which doesn’t have a frame. My grandfather made the mirror but it looks unfinished because there isn’t any wood around the mirror portion. Could I use thick trim and bend it to cover the sides and front of the mirror or do I need to use 2 separate trims- one for the side and one for the front? Let me know your recommendations if you have a minute, thanks for all your inspiration!
Hi Peggi! This Woodubend is kind of addictive isn’t it…lol. If it were my mirror I would probably use a piece on the front and back rather than bend it around the mirror. For one, I think the trim would look more substantial and elegant in it’s full width (rather than halved by a wrap around) and depending on where you’re using it.. it might not even need the trim on the back?? I’d love to hear how it all turns out for you Peggi! x
Hi Denise. These are all so beautiful. I might have to choose the old Singer sewing table makeover because I have an addiction to old sewing machines, but each and every piece of furniture you reimagine is gorgeous.
Thanks my friend! I love that old singer makeover as well!!! XOXO
I remember each of these projects and it’s way too hard to pick a favorite. The Wood u Bends add so much to each piece making each so beautiful. I have to admit that I wouldn’t have thought about putting them on a flower pot! I love them all so I can’t pick just one.
WoodUbend is fabulous on plastic, glass, terracotta, wood and probably so much more I’m not even thinking of. And thanks so much, Kathy! XOXO
These are amazing. But then again I love ALL your work! Thanks for sharing and inspiring us and for all you do! ~ Nicki
Aw, thank you, Nicki! Much appreciated! XOXO
I think that they are ALL my favorites!
I’m so happy you like them… thanks Millie! 🙂
Hi Denise, I love your tutorials and have learned a lot from you. How did you do the French script on the nightstand drawers and feet? Thanks in advance for your reply. —- Jean
Thanks Jean! The nightstand drawers and feet were decoupaged. I have the full decoupage and woodubend tutorial here. 🙂
I am exited to try these! These projects are so inspiring. They all turned dull and drab to exciting. All would be a conversation piece for sure in any home!
I think you’d love them, Frances! I’m pretty thrifty so I make them stretch by cutting them up and using portions of them. Like on the corners of furniture etc. They really do make a HUGE difference!
